We designed and printed these holiday ornaments and went and placed them around the city. If they were returned, the guest would get a gift, but hopes were that people would take them home and hold on to them.

This project sees the prevalence of stalled redevelopments and vacant buildings in Minneapolis as an opportunity for reflection and creative reaction. The public was invited to experience a series of downtown locations through recontextualizing and repurposing materials and spaces found on-site to create a fully realized art exhibit. Simply put: vacant spaces became art.
